Patterns - LILY OF THE VALLEY
by Ruth Forsythe
Issue 26 - June 1975
LILY OF THE VALLEY, a fragrant garden flower with beautiful bell-shaped flowers that hang down in a long cluster along a slender stem. Because of its delightful fragrances, a French toilet water called eau d'or is made from the flowers.
The Cambridge Glass Company could not capture the fragrance in glass, but they did a beautiful job with capturing the artistic bell-shaped flowers and oblong leaves, all held together with slender stems.
